Regulations and Rules

4th International Mountainrace Meran/o 2000 

  • The LOC declines any responsibility for accidents of any kind that could happen to participants or third persons before, during and after the event.  An insurance is responsibility of the participant self.
  • Minimum age for participation: 18 years.
  • The control points on the course have to be regulary passed.
  • It’s not allowed to leave the marked course neither to take a shorter route.
  • The pibs must be fixed in front and also be well visible; they can not be folded or modified in another way.
  • Complaints have to be presented within 15 minutes after the arrive of the athlete to the responsibles of the competition paying a bail of 51,64 Euro. In case of acceptance of the complaint the amount payed will be returned.
  • Participants have to be in possession of a valid medical certificate.
  • The LOC reserves the right to modify the course.
  • With the registration for the race and with the payment of the participating fee the athlete accepts the regulations here exposed and confirms to be in possession of a medical certificate according to the D.M. of 18/02/1982.
  • With the registration the participant also allows to notify his personal data to third persons in purpose to be used according to the law about the protection of personal data (675/96).
  • Questions not regulated by these regulations (like anti-doping controls for example) are regulated by the international rules of FIDAL, CONI, WMRA and IAAF.
